Please note that this is not an Interintellect-specific event, and the reading club will be open to people outside of ii to join as well. The Matter with Things consists of two volumes, and therefore the reading group should be viewed as a long-term project (probably around one year).
For the first meeting, we will be discussing the Introduction and Chapters 1 and 2. The first session will be on February 8th and we’ll continue to have them once a month on every second Wednesday of the month at 18:00 CET / 12:00 EST. Starting in February, hosts Isabela Granic and Nastasia Griffioen are launching a reading group for Iain McGilchrist’s magnum opus, The Matter with Things.
